Later today Donald Trump most likely will be elected. This is due to the way the American system is set up, as he lost the popular vote by more than 2 million. He also has the lowest approval rating of any incoming president ever. For me a Trump presidency is a worrisome matter. In fact he scares me that no other president elect ever has. This is due to a mutltitude of reasons.

Bigotry
Trump is a bigot. I know some people will say no he isnt. But consider the following: He was endorsed by the KKK and other white surpremist groups. The KKK threw a parade for him. An alt right party threw for him people were video taped giving the heil hitler sign while saying “Heil Trump.” (video link) Hate crimes has also sky rocketed since Trump won the election. There has been over a thousand hate crimes committed since he was elected. Even though this isnt Trump this is what he inspires in many people. I know that is not true for most people, it is worrisome though in the amount of people it is inspriing to hate. So the question is why?

While Trump stays clear from saying anything too directly he has said and did plenty that inspires people to hate. In the 1970s he was investigated for refusing to allow black tenants to move into his real estate. He ended making a deal that he would discontinue the discrimination and the DOA dropped the case. When David Duke (former grand wizard of the KKK) endorsed him he took days before he said he would not accept it. This was only after public opinion forced to. He has also spouted Islamophobic statements. He called Mexicans rapist (and then said some are ok…meaning that most were rapist). When a black lives protester was sucker punched at one of his rallies, he said more should have been done. In a later interview, he mentioned that back in the day they would have been handled (lynching?).  Then there is the case that many of his cabinet. The issue is not that they are nearly all white males, it is that so many have had issues with racism.

Then we have his issues with women. He has been accused of rape three times. Once by his first wife and another by a girl who said Trump and another billionaire raped her. The other billionaire has since been arrested for being a pedophile, however due to death threats sent to her she pulled her case against Trump. Trump has also been accused of sexually assaulting many women and has been caught on camera saying he likes to grab then by their pussy and they won’t do anything since he is rich and famous.

What kind of example is he setting? No wonder hate crimes are up.

Economy

Trump has made it seem like the USA economy is in shambles. Unemployment is low, the stock market is high. The US is the richest country in the world. However there are issues. The debt is high, and we are in several unequal trade deals. This is where I was hoping Trump could help America, but I am unsure of even that. He talks tough to his followers but when it comes to it, he is weak. When Carrier threatened to leave for Mexico and take with it 2000 Americans jobs Trump said he would punish companies doing so. So what happened. Carrier agreed to keep 700 jobs that were going to be shipped out. But when we really look at the deal it is much worse than just keeping half. He also gave them a huge tax break of $7 million dollars, and they get to keep a billion dollar deal with America. To top it off Carrier said it will be looking to replace those workers it kept with machines as soon as they could. Sanders wanted to ban them from their billion dollar deal if they left, Trump in turns pays them. What precedent does this send for future companies? That they can ship out many of their workers and get tax deals?!?!

America has a huge wealth gap where the poor is getting poorer and the rich are getting richer. Trump’s tax plan is to increase tax on the poorest and decrease tax on the richest. He also wants to cut the inheritance tax to zero (which helps the wealthiest the most), and help for child care for the wealthier. He also plans to build an expensive wall, raise the amount we spend on the military (already higher than the next ten countries combined, and the military has stated we are spending money on items that go straight to the junkyard already). The tax foundation has estimated that Trump will put America ten trillion more in debt.
Corruption

Trump is swamped in scandals. His fundraiser paid for large paintings of him that he has put up in his businesses, it was also used to pay for a bribe for the Attorney General of Forida to keep her from pressing charges against his scandal of a university. He refused to put his businesses in a blind trust. He has picked cabinet members who know nothing or very little of what they are in charge of. What they did do was pay large amounts of money to him. He has stated he wants to push America back towards oil and has since picked the Exxon president to be secretary of state.  He encouraged Russia to hack into Hillary’s campaign. Now the CIA and the FBI have said that Russia interfered with our election, even Fox news and other Republicans have confirmed this. Why I am afraid

I am worried that Trump will get America so far in debt that there is no coming out of it, especially once he gets the rich all these tax breaks. It will be so tough to retract from the rich these tax breaks. I am afraid that hate in America will increase. As the economy falls Trump will continue to find scapegoats and many people will believe him. Trump has also caused people to distrust the media so much that they then believe any random source thinking it is on par with official sites. This has since caused one follower to shoot up a restaurant after hearing Hillary was falsely using it in some pedophile case. Trump has used this as a means to tell lies more than he tells the truth and his followers cant tell the difference. He wants to detroy the education system in America and wants to send tax money to private schools (again helps out the rich more so and destroys the school system). He has made comparisons on par with Hitler. Yes he may have trade but there is so much more to risk. I see Trump has using a gun to straighten a cowlick. As I would be afraid if a person does this I am afraid as America does this.
